One new Draft ICC Opinion Circulated
The ICC Banking Commission is preparing for their next meeting to be held virtually on Zoom on Tuesday 12 July 2022.
In that respect, one new Draft ICC Opinion has been circulated for comments – and further discussion at the meeting 12 July. Namely TA925.
TA925, is somewhat straightforward, but still very interesting as it touches upon a situation that actually is rather common. In short it is about documents under an LC that has been taken up by a confirming bank – but subsequently refused by the issuing bank due to a discrepancy that has been missed by the confirming bank.
It will be interesting to hear the comments to that one.
