ICC Banking Commission has published TA briefing no. 11
18 September 2024 the ICC Banking Commission has published TA briefing no. 11 titled “Definition of Trade Finance”
The trigger for the briefing is that “there is no consensual agreement on the definition of "Trade Finance" by regulators on a global basis” and that “a misleading and oversimplified definition of trade finance may result in unintended negative consequences for the business”.
